First major workshop of key stakeholders in Tamale in Ghana, jointly organised by #INTERFACES, the #COINS and the #DecLaRe projects focuses on the development of the gender-responsive theory of change.
The Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa #FARA and the WASCAL, in collaboration with German Partners including the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS), Zentrum für Entwicklungsforschung / Center for Development Research (ZEF), University of Bonn as well as Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences amongst others, are implementing the “Supporting Pathways to Sustainable Land Management in Africa” #INTERFACES funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) targeting Sub-Saharan Africa as an accompanying project to four research projects named #COINS, #DecLaRe, #InfoRange and #MINODU.
In their first major workshop of key stakeholders in Tamale in Ghana, jointly organised by #INTERFACES, the #COINS and the #DecLaRe Projects, the focus was made on the development of the gender-responsive theory of change to catalyze joint learning and knowledge synthesis with and among the regional projects and relevant stakeholders in Ghana, Senegal and/or Benin.
The two-day workshop (November 15 & 16) had representatives from research and policy, as well as traditional leaders, farmers, input dealers, and the media, amongst others, in attendance and actively participating in co-creating the Theories of Change.
