KM4AgD Challenge

Knowledge Management for Agricultural Development (KM4AgD) Challenge catalyses innovation through collaboration and strengthens the KM ecosystem through

  1. Stakeholder Engagement,
  2. Knowledge Sharing,
  3. Capacity Building and
  4. Collective Impact.

It is joint annual programme by FARA, its continental partners CCARDESA, CORAF, ASARECA, AFAAS and the Knowledge for Development Partnership (K4DP), CGIAR, the AUC-DARBE and the NARIS.

Projects

In 2024 the INTERFACES project, with funding from BMBF, sponsored five PhD and post-doctoral students to become “Certified Knowledge Managers for Sustainable Development”. The following scheduled knowledge cafes serve as a validation of their various knowledge products whereby the Community of Practice D-Groups will be utilized as a platform for discussion and exchange. The colloquium series will provide insights into the value-added of communities of practice and an overview of proceedings.
