Intervention Forecasting and Monitoring A Land Use Decision in Peri-Urban Hanoi

Cory Whitney presented work on the NIFAM project that addresses global malnutrition through a transdisciplinary approach, combining action research and development to support decision-making in resource-limited settings. By co-developing a scientific framework, the project aims to forecast, implement, and monitor effective nutrition interventions in Vietnam and Myanmar. The project collaborates with various local partners to explore school gardens, fruit and vegetable shops, and evaluate the Vietnamese school meal policy, aiming to improve diets and reduce malnutrition.
