DecLaRe project held its annual workshop from 29th November to 2nd December 2023 in Parakou (Benin) after one year of impactful stride with intense fieldworks. The annual meeting aimed:

  • To discuss progress made during the first year
  • To efficiently plan upcoming activities in 2024
  • To encourage interdisciplinarity within the project’s team
  • To actively engage with stakeholders
  • To mentor PhD Fellows

To engage with stakeholders, we organised a field visit during which we got the opportunity to discuss #participatory_soil_mapping with stakeholders and to observe local cheese (Wagashi) making.
